Think it’s time to sink your car just because your engine got washed out in the floodwaters? Why not just replace the engine? Remanufactured engines can be had for a reasonable price and are quite reliable, probably outlasting the lifetime of the car if taken car of properly.

The clunkers for cash program while very popular with the public needs some attention from Congress to keep it going. The program has been very successful but has run out of money because of that success. It’s a two-sided sword. Perhaps Congress and the Senate will add more funds for the program so others can enjoy the specified savings.

There are so many things that are offered to us to place in or outside of our car that we are told we need to have. I’ve never looked at window deflectors as a need until I got them and saw the difference they make for myself. Window deflectors actually have improved my driving experience.

Today, there is a growing number of fuel-saving hybrid cars being sold in the market. Because of this, the government is therefore obligated to apply taxes. For those interested in buying hybrid cars though, there is good news. The Internal Revenue Service has already qualified a number of hybrid car brands for tax credit. For purchasers, this might actually be a good idea. The government’s proposal of this tax credit for hybrid car goods is possibly one of the best incentives yet.
